Vibrant Pittsburgh and the Urban Affairs Foundation of the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh's Community Relations Council (CRC) has awarded Coro Latinoamericano a one-time grant for its project "Canta Pittsburgh: Choral Music and Culture as Tools for Family Inclusion, Integration and Retention, promoting Latino culture in Pittsburgh through a children's choir, musical instruction and performances."  This is partnership between Coro Latinoamericano and the Latin American Cultural Union aimed at reconstituting Coro Latinoamericano's childrens' choir and having both children and their parents become involved in choral activity and community.

Vibrant Pittsburgh's mission is to lead a "People Renaissance" that embraces inclusion; ensures our region's growth by attracting, retaining, elevating and welcoming a diverse workforce; and promotes the Pittsburgh Region nationally and internationally as a diverse, welcoming region of opportunities. The Urban Affairs Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the CRC, promotes the involvement of Jewish organizations and individuals in activities to build amicable relationships among diverse community groups.  With the vision of a thriving, vibrant and engaged community, the CRC aims to carry out its work in the context of cooperation and inclusiveness.
